The HT-6 western red cedar hot tub is ideal for up to 6 people. It comes standard with 6 jets and holds 480 gallons of water. Filled, the hot tub weighs 4,400 lbs. You can heat it with wood, propane or electricity. By far the propane heater is the fastest, heating the water in just a few hours. It comes with a 5.5 KW Electric Heater as standard equipment. Topside LED controls prevents auxiliary control options such as lights and jets from freezing and provide heating accuracy that is +/- one degree.

  Cover Color Options

You have the choice of one of 12 colors to choose from for your hot tub cover. Our Northern Elements marine vinyl covers are made from 4"  heavy-duty tapered foam which offers an R-14 level of insulation.  They come with tie downs including keyed lock fasteners (Child Proof Locks). All covers have an aluminum C channeling and are made from 1.5lb high density insulating foam which will support up to 400 lbs of static weight. Comes with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty.

Heater Information & Options

You cedar hot tub comes standard with a Balboa 5.5Kw heater digital spa pack (including digital programmable options) with a 50 square foot filter system, LCD digital top side controls and a 1 1/2 HP 2 stage 220/230 VAC pump. Included are 4 industrial cedar adjustable jets, a bottom suction intake and top skimmer for superior filtration and two air controllers for dual action jet massage control. This can be upgraded to a 11 Kilowatt Balboa heater system, especially made for colder climates. This heats your hot tub twice as fast as the standard 5.5 KW heater.

Note: When purchasing the Base Hot Tub, all plumbing and electrical components are exposed. You are expected to custom build the skirting, covers, stairs and railing. (see images below) By purchasing the Deluxe Package you are getting a complete package that, when assembled, needs nothing else except you in the hot tub!  Also, by purchasing the Deluxe Package, you know that the cedar comes from one source and will closely match in color and texture. (cedar can vary in color and texture from one region to another) The Base Tub is suitable for integration into a deck or for a the "do-it-yourself" person that wants to customize the surrounding of the hot tub. Also, both the Base Hot Tub and the Base + Deluxe Package includes a pre-assembled skid pack that includes the pre-plumbing and wiring of the pump, filter, and heater on a plastic skid plate. This makes assembly for you much easier!
 

  Warranty

  Additional Information

• All our stave come from the factory at 47" however we can make the tubs shorter (42") at no additional charge should a customer request. Total height of the hot tub is 48" off the ground.

• Electrical Service applies to electric heated systems with 5.5KW heater and 1-3 HP pump. Gas systems can be configured to run on 120 VAC 15A GFD. Chofu systems do not need any electrical requirements unless a filter system is used.

• All electric systems come in either Canadian/US (230VAC/60Hz) and European (220VAC/50Hz) supplies and codes. The customer is responsible for the electrical hookup (usually 30A or 40A 2P GFI) This will require an electrical contractor which should be budgeted into the overall cost. You will also have to budget for creating a flat foundation to place the tub on.
